Jewish Federations of Canada

“Jewish Federations of Canada – UIA has made a real difference to the Kitchener-Waterloo Jewish community.  Their support has helped build Jewish identity and strengthen our connection with Israel and the greater national Jewish community. With their backing, we were able to revive our local Walk for Israel in June 2012 which brought together hundreds of community members and raised over $12,000 for the Youth Futures program in Kiryat Shmona.  We are hopeful that this year’s Walk for Israel on June 9 will be an even greater success.  We couldn’t make this happen without the support of Jewish Federations of Canada-UIA.”

Jeff Budd, Kitchener-Waterloo

Jewish Federations of Canada – UIA partners with the Canadian Jewish federations and communities to maximize the national Jewish community’s commitment to Israel and its’ collective impact on the local, national and global Jewish agenda. JFC-UIA has a very special relationship to the small and regional communities of Canada, helping them to sustain the quality of Jewish life at home and connecting them to the larger Canadian Jewish scene, Israel and world Jewry. JFC-UIA works with CIJA, its advocacy agent, ensuring that the issues of importance to the well-being of the Canadian Jewish community are understood by the  relevant levels of government, community, media, academia and business  within Canada.
